EVE General Discussion

DnB, Liquid DnB, preferably without vocals.

It fits with what happens in Eve most of the time for me, which is nice. I listen to all kinds of music though.
As for TV shows and such and related music, the entire BSG soundtrack is kind of nice, although a bit fast paced for Eve sometimes. Music from the Halo games works, especially ODST and some of Halo 4's tracks are nice (although entirely different)

There is also a thing called Machinimasound, I never looked into it much but if you look for it on Youtube you will find it and can listen to it. A lot of it goes well with Eve too :D

The BSG soundtrack is full of very celtic/tribal sounding music, basically every time Vipers were shooting anything ^^ Most of it is great but may be a little fast paced, if you're not doing something shooty, I guess.

I can go on forever, whee, I listen to music pretty much the whole time when I am playing any games anyways :P Most games tend to come with their own great soundtrack but not all of them and I find a lot of the multiplayer games sound rather meh in terms of music. Some of Eve's own music is pretty great but it gets repetetive quickly, I find. Singleplayer games soundtracks, I can listen to for ages :x

There is a 6 something hour compliation of Mass Effect music that goes pretty well with Eve on Youtube somewhere :D

I usually jam out to the Homeworld soundtrack, Korpiklaani or Skalmold for pvp, or just deep house for other stuff. It\s nice.

Psytrance for me. Astral Projection, Electric Universe, Astrix, and others like that.

You guys should check out AlienHand. He makes music that is themed for eve. Youtube page

There is also Eve Radio.

That's amazing. I knew of AlienHand and the music and all but I didn't know there was that much of it.

It all depends on my mood. You can see the topic in Out Of Pod section of forum, where I usually post the music that I listen when playing.

Classical

Mozart, Bach, Beethoven all had music that applies well.

I like the newer sounds as are listed in other posts, but music tends to build on what came before and knowing what came before can really broaden your horizons.

Listening to a track from Ron Boots (out of the Netherlands) that is really interesting.

Every time I go to warp in a Hurricane this pops into my head.

Since the title of this thread has Anime in it, every time I even see a hurricane I think of THIS song... I am really old school...
