Hi, a newb here, i have about 34million isk saved and i can only really get on this game for about 2hours every week night because of work (but can usually play most of the weekend) i was wondering is it possible to start stationary trading on that amount of isk and turn it into profit while im offline ?

I am also keen to hear other suggestions on ways i could become ingame wealthy without always being online if trading isnt possible

Thanks in advance!Big smile

Serious part:
I've heard of pilots starting with less and doing very well. They are rare. It really is a matter of understanding how the market works. It isn't what I do. You need to find cheap things to buy and sell. Basically place a buy order for cheap T1 items, then relist them as sell orders at a reasonable profit. Eventually, your ROI will decline and you'll need higher-priced goods and eventually, you'll work your way into the top-end stuff that all the other station traders deal in.

Joking part:
Are you planning on trading Pax Amarria or Reports? That's all I could find that was close to stationary. I found no envelopes, blank paper, etc in the market.

I started with around 50 million and i have around 3.5-3.7 billion after about a month! So I'm sure you can do fine!

His usage of "stationary" was right. What you're referring to would be called "stationery."

/nitpick

And to the OP: Yes, you can definitely make it happen with that level of cash and 2 hours of nightly play time. Whether you can make that happen for very long in a place like Jita is another question entirely, because people update orders constantly there and it takes a lot of work to "stay on top," if that's what your trading plan is centered around.

Might be better to start off in one of the smaller hubs (Rens, Dodixie, Amarr).

We can make some deals together as i'm in constant need of specific items from Jita and travel there and back is a real pain and time consuming. That's the point where you come into. I'll provide you information what to buy and where to haul it, then i buy it all back with 10-15% profit from you.
It's not full time job. You will have to spare about 10 orders for my use then mail me when it fills up.
Yup i'm a bit short handed with orders and don't really want to launch 3rd account just for that.
You can learn much and also i can split some area to cover by you with your own orders when you will be ready to do so.
Contact me ingame for futher details if you are interested.

Market bo... Caugh* ts market caugh* bots.

your best bet is to just Scam in Jita, be creative, have fun and people will want to give you ISK.

Once you get 4.5 bil ISK then you can start making passive income you can count.
