Depends on where you do the site, the site size, etc...

2. No ISK from combat sites except in Gurista space (many competitors) and from escalations (again Guristas) if you got lucky.

Here Gila fit, If you are low in skills downgrade to meta 1-4/faction modules, exchange drone rigs for shield rigs, e.t.c:

Medium Drone Durability Enhancer II
Medium Drone Durability Enhancer I
Medium Core Defense Field Extender II

FoF missiles and Drones according to rats.

Use faction drones. Set drones to aggressive mod and to attack different targets (anyway they will attack same target, but sometimes they get confused and attack different targets). Don't stop moving/orbiting.
Pop, get agro, launch FoF’s, launch drones. Go to next gate. Until you reach, room will be clear.

T3 cruisers don't work in high sec.

T3Ds are pretty awesome for the job and I'd second the Confessor in particular. Gila... sure. That works.

T3c don't work for most sites, but they'll work wonders in highsec "Vigil" unrated sites

I used to do Sansha DED 3-4 in a zealot, got some dank loot (eanms, webs, guns for DED 4/10.. and lots of a-type adaptive Nanos and other a-type for DED 3/10)
And for the rarer Vigil sites I used my trusty legion

If you do the right sites, tthere's plenty of isk to be made...

And if you plan on contesting sites (or being contested, bring a point hehehe)

What exacly do you mean by that? Does Guristas sites drop something that other pirate faction sites dont? Or do you mean that Guristas have most valuable loot?

Guristas have the single highest payout item in high sec (a-type shield booster). Angels follow with the same. A-type ANPs are fine though, and ABs and MWDs really aren't bad.
