Incursions in 0.0 Space?

I understand spawning of Incursions in high sec space and have no complaints as there is a number of specialized communities that race to farm them as quickly as possible. For those of us who make our life and living in the already perilous null space what is the practical need for incursions? 0.0 Incursions reduce PVP activity significantly in the affected constellations and forces the locals to move their activity elsewhere. Market players such as myself are left staring at our wallets feeling like the fat girl at prom that no one will dance with. 0.0 space is challenging enough with the knowledge that everyone you aren't blue with wants to kill you the moment you undock and will hunt you unmercifully for the chance to do so.

I know it's just pixels and there is no real value being lost by spawning an Incursion in 0.0 space that gets ignored but it seems like a wasted content opportunity for someone that actually enjoys pve to me.

The better question is "why do they get ignored". The answer is because in order to get the best out of incursion content you need super blingy incursion ships (like Vindicators and Nightmares). You can do them with lesser ships, but when you do you get less payout and eventually you realize that you make the same doing incursions in high sec using Vindicators and Nightmares as you do in Null using Maelstroms and Abbadons (or armor tanked navy vexors). And in null you can be sure that someone is going to come and attack yoru incursion fleet because you aren't set up properly for pvp and thus easier to kill with even a smallish gang of true pvp fit ships.

Null hasn't spawned the same kinds of incursion communities High has because the random nature of the spawn means that no matter how big your 'bloc" is, half the time incursions will spawn in places you'd have to fight to get to...to maybe make as much isk per hour as you could have just doing them in high sec lol.

Put plainly, the guys who would be in null clearing out those incursions for you are doing high sec incursions on alts. I was last night Big smile. I honestly don't know what the fix is other than your alliance leaders ordering an incursion cleaning op.

Fleet sizes can be bigger in 0.0 so you can use less efficient ships and run Incursions just as fast or faster than High-Sec.

Payouts in 0.0 are much higher than High, so you will make much more isk running incursions in 0.0

Problem with 0.0 Incursions is:

1) Everyone is a killmail whore, people would fly half way across the Eve-Verse just to blap the fleet
2) Most non-mega alliances can't field a 45 man fleet consistently
3) Most 0.0 players appear to be happy enough to do the path of least resistance, which includes ratting anomalies (lowest effort), mission running or High Sec incursion alts (highest-effort) instead of the max effort required to do 0.0 incursions.
4) It has been ingrained in everyone's mind that incursions in 0.0 are not possible so no organization has picked up running them in pick-up groups like there is in High Sec.
5) Bubbles makes moving with the spawn a nightmare.

You mean people are human and won't take stupid risks for an extra 54 mil per hour more (just using HQs as an example even though they are rarely done outside high sec, 3 HQs sites per hour in a standard fleet)? It's not nearly worth it when you can just x up in some high sec incursion channel and breeze along portected by CONCORD and logi. I still have my original ISN Incursion Vindicator.

They are possible, they just aren't worth it. The same reason people aren't doing null incursions as much as high is the same reason people do more lvl4s in high than lvl 5s in low. You can make a killing blitzing lvl 5s, but losing marauders or carriers from time to time tends to erase profits. Personally I haven't lost a high sec incursion ship (as mentioned above) or high sec mission ship in 5 years, the only thing keeping me doing null anoms is that I find escalations to be fun.
