Whatever happened to the Eve-Online Database? When I first started I used to use this extensively to learn about the various ships and modules. Particularly when I was away from home and couldn't log into the game. Is the only way nowadays, to log into the game and hit show info on a link to item in question? When I log on I want to undock and kill stuff, not sit there reading. I want to read when I'm on the train or in my dinner hour at work and can't get online.

Did I just miss the updated link or don't they support it anymore? Are there any third party apps out there doing this?

Thanks but that link only gives me item or ship names and their market prices. Even that looks like it stopped being updated after the Svipul was introduced.

What I'm after is the stats of ships and objects. Like for the new command destroyers, I want to know the hull, armor and shield HPs and their resistance lines. Their traits and bonus', number and type of slots, fitting info etc.

The first link that you were given by the ISD poster has more info if you click on the name of the ship.

Oh yes! You are right, that is the sort of thing I'm looking for. Thanks.

However, again this tool seems to have been discontinued from being updated from around a year ago. The Confessor and Svipul have the original stats (with 6 turrets each) and the other T3 Dessies, Command Dessies and Logistics Frigates don't exist.

Thanks, I'll have a study of this tonight, I'd heard good reports of Pyfa before but never had a look at it. However, it looks like I have to download the app, which may be problematic on a works machine.

I don't know about Pyfa, but EFT is just an executable file with some folders to store data. You can run it off a flash drive without downloading anything to your computer.

There is also Osmium, if you don't want to download anything.
