How do I get my PLEX to my new trial account?

I am unable to log into both accounts from the same computer simultaneously, and I'm just wondering how this can be accomplished short of handing it to someone else or obtaining a second computer.

Thanks.

Options:

  • give your alt the ISK required to buy a PLEX
  • drop the PLEX in a can on space far away from prying eyes (for example, a warp-to-100 location based on a celestial)
  • be part of the same player corporation, leave the PLEX in a corporate hangar
  • abandon the PLEX in a spaceship that the alt can fly, at a safe spot, have the alt probe down the ship
  • find someone you trust to hold the PLEX for you

Updated: trials can not accept private contracts. They can accept direct trades, which is the easiest option for people with multiple computers.

Thank you. Never set up a contract before, but I'll read up on it before giving it a shot.

Appreciate you taking the time to punch out those suggestions.

They can not.

I usually just give them the isk to buy one.

Trials can't make OR receive contracts.

The only easy way to do this is to actually sell the PLEX for ISK at a good price, transfer that ISK to your trial and then on your trial buy a PLEX from market.

The other way is described earlier, you can drop it in space somewhere safe (use a Giant Secure Container, go to 0.7 or below system and anchor the GSC, then put a password on it and drop the PLEX in it)

Now log into your trial account, warp to the above anchored GSC and open it with the password, you should be able to take the PLEX out of it. ***Keep the password for yourself so the plex is safe***

This is what I did. Worked a charm.

If both characters were in the same station, could not a trade just be made?

Only if he was on two computers. You can't run a trial account on a computer the same time you run a paid account.

Oddly I never had an issue with this when I made my alt but then again my alt has 25mil sp now so maybe they have changed something since then since everyone keeps sayn that trial cannot be active at the same time with your main account.

No, you misunderstand.

You cannot run two Eve Clients at the same time if one of them is logged into a trial account. Once the trial account becomes a regular account, the restriction is removed, and you can run both clients at once.

You never tried it then because the restriction came in with Kali (Revelations I) and the contract/ISK restrictions came in with Red Moon Rising, so that's 5 years+ its been in effect.
