Issues, Workarounds & Localization

so I was flying around and started having an unrelated issue, so I cleared the game settings and invert camera was no longer working so I clicked invert camera controls and nothing. I played around with the check box a bit even restarting the client and what not but nothing changes the settings and is still the same way it is when you first install.

after poking about a bit I found the settings files and backup files created when I cleared the settings and I'm not sure where the camera controls are hidden but if i did I would have probably edited the new file or restored the old one if it would help.

any help with this issue would be appreciated as it seems my ticket has gone unanswered for a while now and I really don't want to just restore all the old files and go from there.

i think I noticed this happen to me once before and just had to suffer as I found nothing about the subject when researching a fix and like before I have found nothing about my problem.

and I'm no coder and I have no clue how optimization works but wouldn't something like this be simple to fix or change? like an if then statement?
