Good Maelstrom fit for solo L4s?

Hi guys I've been trying to run L4 security missions solo and I was wondering what would be a good fit for a Maelstrom? I'd rather have a fit that has very DPS and can finish missions quickly than one that's tanky. I have 10mil SP and Advanced Weapons Upgrades trained to level 4 so I should be able to do some reasonably advanced fits. Any ideas? I suck at fitting ships...

10 secs of google got this: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Maelstrom

1200mm scout art *8

X-l shield booster
shield booster II
cap recharger II
adaptive invul II
adaptive invul II
afterburner

damage control
4 * gyrostab II

3 CCC rigs.

Tbh its not something I would like, I would fit arys with a micro jump drive and sensor boosters to snipe with. That fit if you changed it to autocannons and drop an invul field for a tracking computer you probably are at where you want to be with it. Alot of it depends on what t2 weapons you have trained. Got large autocannons IV?

Will gank for food

I don't have large autocannons just yet, no. But thank you for the fit. I saw that link too but sometimes those fits can be really old and since I just got back in to Eve about a week ago I wasn't sure if there were better modules I could be using.

This one, or the one linked in the comments. Tbh, I would swap the cb for a sensor booster tho.

euni is pretty good about keeping stuff current.

MJDs are something that are very situational useful. if you just use one all the time you are going to be giving up a lot of damage. and on a ship like the mael (with its tank bonus) you typically don't need to jump out. However there are a few instances where it will put you closer to the objective or let you get decent hits thanks to low transversal. Even with arty if transversal is a problem typically with an AB you can mitigate it, or just launch drones and let them deal with it. people played eve for years without MJDs no reason to go slapping them on everything now.

I think I'd go with an arty fit most of the time. maybe worth swapping to AC for a few missions but overall too slow to make AC work in most missions imo.

I'd also try and fit a few tracking enhancers/computers on. arty doesn't have the best tracking.

overall I'd aim for a machariel, does almost everything a mael does but better. I just can't stand flying a mael, way too slow.
