New ships: hulls you'd like in-game

With ships being remodeled every once in a while, which is great, there could be a moment where an 'ugly' ship gets turned into a good/better looking ship.

The Exequror remodel for example looks great. But in my opinion the old hull looked amazing already, and the remodel wasn't really needed on that ship. Instead, I would've preferred a remodel of the Thorax. If it would look like say, the Blackbird from the old X-Men cartoons, or a more slimmer version of Thunderbird 2 from Thunderbirds, instead of the Thorax looking like a penis at the moment, that would've been amazing Bear

What would you like to see an old ship turn into, or how a new ship would look like?

I'd like to see an iteration of the Battlestar Galactica Vipers! Would be awesome to fly a ship that looks like that!

Exequror suffered from "Fender Bender" syndrome, same as Imicus is now.

CCP, you showed us all those Gallente frigate remodel concept arts, there was Imicus there, not resembling banana with kickstand, and not only that frigate was there.

When? Dont tell us the spaceship guys have something else to do. Imicus suffers for so long, it really need redesign.

Oh, and while we are at it, at least make Tech2 Gallentean Unicorns lance longer.

Cruise Missile Bombers - they were designed and spec'd but never put in.
T3 Battleships - lots of play between battleships and capitals.
T2 capitals - plenty of room between the caps and supers right now as well.

I agree, ugly little ship, someone needs to take it out back with a shotgun.

Yeah a remodel of the Imicus would be great. Current Imicus looks like something I imagine you'd see if you're on a good amount of hallucinogenics. Also saw artwork of a remodel of the Slasher and Thrasher, looked great, need!

Yes, Slasher is superd to current one, but Thrasher? Hmm I think they should really keep the proportions that are in current design.

Armageddon, omen, rupture, osprey all desperately need new models.

The Bhaalgorn needs it's own model, like every other blood raider ship has.

Osprey... If the Osprey could get a badass remodel like the Blackbird had, I would not complain.

Why the Rupture though? It looks like a brick, it should stay that way imo :P

They should basically be removed from the game, which would stop people linking ridiculous fits in local.

That would mostly hurt new players because the Thorax is the only Penis-Shaped hull in the lower price segment. Not everybody has the money to get an Avatar, you know? Blink

Not to me. Every time I see one, I get a frisson and start to think, Tim Allen is going to decloak right beside me any moment and will make holes in my armor.
