Okay GD! Help me figure out why sometimes the lasers in EVE are suddenly really dull and not fun to watch at all. Sometimes I see lasers when my camera is in any position and they always appear as a solid beam of light from point to point. Other times I only see lasers when my camera is panned close to their path and they will fade away in the distance and taper off.

This picture shows what I want it to look like, Solid beams of light showing up no matter how far away the attacker is!

This picture shows what it looks like sometimes and makes me really sad. Just like I said the beams of light fade out as they go into the distance, and if I zoomed my camera all the way out they do not even show up at all. Note the lasers in this picture that are fading are not going off into the distance, they actually fade towards the point of origin too, there are in fact ships there!

Maybe this is just a bug but if I can change some type of graphic setting please tell me! I currently have everything at max and never change anything so I dont see why it would switch sometimes :| Help!

P.S. If you help me fix it I will contract you a FREE Ferox in Jita or Amarr, probably Amarr.

Are they off of long range weapons and short weapons? As long as they have beautifully colors which they do, I dont see no problems.

Both long range and short range weapons either look right or dont look right. The colours are beautiful still but if you have to zoom within 10k of a laser to even see it thats kind of silly :|

T___T Did anyone even look at the pictures? I don't use lasers, but if I'm going to have to fight Sansha in a Tengu I at least want to see all THEIR pretty lasers missing me. Don't you want a Ferox? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Your pictures both link to this thread no idea how you managed to **** that up.

But being a nice guy I fixed it for you.

clicky clicky for nice and shiny lasers

Edit: as for how it happens I have no idea but I do remember that when I turn on bloom the lasers look so shiny so maybe sometimes the bloom isnt working or something.
