I am currently working through The Plan. (Excellent guide to repair your faction standings.)

My intention / goal is to raise all 4 factions' standings as high as possible. I've run into a dilemma.

First, all relevant social skills are at V. Second, currently the 4 faction standings are anywhere between 2.5 and 5.0 I'd like to get them all, someday, to say 8 or higher. For now, just getting them all a nice jump up would be great.

I've worked through the Career Agents and Circle Agents in the Plan, and am now doing Data Center agents.

Something that jumped out at me is that there is very little net gain from these missions. Previously, if I jumped standings by X with the faction, the enemy faction's standings would only go down by say, 60% of X.

But with the Data Center missions, it's more like 80-90% of X or more. For example, Caldari went down by 0.11 while Gallente went up by 0.13 - a net gain of 0.02.

The tag missions can get pretty expensive - turning in 20 pirate tags of every type. So far I've just turned in level 1 tags for Gallente, and noticed the extremely low net gain in standings.

I'm wondering if, in the long run, it's worth it to burn through hundreds of millions of ISK worth of tags while turning in all tag missions for all 4 empire factions. Or should I skip Data Center agents and just go for the COSMOS ones?

Save the data missions for when you absolutely need them. Its a one time thing.
