Ingame bio editing broken (All ingame text fields broken)

Pretty much as the title says.

Went to add a small quote to my bio this evening and found doing so destroyed the whole bio page lol

Upon edit the order of text on-page is reversed, links are moved, sizes and colours go haywire too.

Pretty much unusable at the moment so I've had to delete the whole bio until resolved.

Don't edit my bios very often so I'm not sure how long this problem has been evident.

Edit: Well as it turns out it's not only bios. Refer posts below.

Not only bio, everything where you can enter some text is broken at the moment, as soon your text has more than 1 paragraph. Even the bug report tool :-P

It's not just bio, it's all ingame-editors: effects at least evemail, MOTDs, corp bulletins and calendar events, when edited in the game. Started today after the client update, but the bug looks like an old one I remember from several years back. You can sort of manage an evemail if you write it from beginning to end without any editing and press send, but any attempt to insert a paragraph in the middle, link anything, or copypaste breaks it.

If your MOTDs or bulletins have crucial operational information you'd rather not retype, I'd recommend not touching them right now.

I found that, i usually keep a list of links to pass on to rookies .
opened the notepad today and it was a jumbled mess that just refused to stay in order.

guess I won't be opening that tool on other characters for now as its a disaster

Glad this is a confirmed issue.

Took me 30 minutes to write an eve mail, ended up writing it in notepad and copy/paste in the end What? thought I was going mad or something.

Chat seems to be fine, but anything with text editing tools is bugged.

After much testing, I found the workaround. No empty lines ... for example:

This and
This

versus

This and

This.

No empty carriage returns. Formatting will work correctly as long as there are no empty lines.

I had to escape angle brackets found in logs in a petition using &lt; and &gt;, otherwise log copypasta stopped before the first angle bracket.

Could be related.

For Eve-Mail you can also use the Eve-Gate tool. It'll still **** with formatting as it's always done, but at least the paragraphs remain in order, even if somewhat lacking proper double linebreaks.
