The truth behind the Thorax cruiser design is that it was in fact based off a Legendary Gallente admiral's 'asset'.
It is rumored the chief designer was the concubine of said admiral - and 'longed to be blasted by his throbbing rail gun again.'
This in mind, she quickly came up with the design of the ship we know as the Thorax today.

Effective at all ranges, it will surely cover you in Hybrid space-goo when in 'close quarters'.

Ironically it is also believed she was involved in the design of the Amarr Titan... but we think that's just childish.

Hybrid turrets are notable in the fact that they are the most widely used type of turret in the universe.

Blasters are an extremely short range, highly destructive weapon system. Blasters possess high tracking speeds, short cycle times, and high volley damage, and as a result are one of the most powerful weapons available.

Railguns are the long range version of the Hybrid Turret. Railguns feature longer optimal ranges than Beam Lasers or Artillery. With the right fittings, a railgun equipped sniper battleship can hit targets at distances greater than 200 kilometers. These weapons have poor tracking and are restricted to kinetic and thermal damage types.

On December 11, 2006, at 18:36:00 Band of Brothers [BoB] destroyed Steve in the C9N-CC system. SirMolle of BoB publicly announced that they had blown it up. This was the first Titan kill on Tranquility. This makes Steve not only the first Titan ever built, but also the first Titan ever destroyed.

Easy - 15,823km to circumnavigate the continent on Highway 1. Throw in a 20 hour return ferry trip to include Tasmania and by averaging 60kph, with fuel stops - then 14 days is possible
