Hi All,

I have recently returned after going afk before the refining changes were made. I have some old stocks of ice that I am looking to refine and sell. Because ice used to be 100% refine, I would like to know what a 'good' percentage is these days. Currently I have 69.6 in a station i have 6.68 standings with, Ice processing 5 and the beancounter RX804 implant. Is there more I should be doing apart from using a POS refining array?

Cheers,
Ben

That's the best you can get in highsec. Please note that the implant effect does not show up in the GUI but it does take effect when you actually refine. Your other options are an intensive refinery array at a POS or a compression array at a POS. Compressed ice usually sells for more though.

72.358% = old "perfect" refine (100%)

You get higher now with better facilities and implants. A fully upgraded Minmatar outpost is the highest facilities

Note that reprocessing arrays round differently (to zero) than stations / outposts (to nearest), so with arrays it is best to compress and fill it to max capacity before reprocessing.

Example: Reprocessing 1 ice cube at a POS array results in no Strontium Clathrates.
