I understand killing people in low security space makes me evil but what I'm wondering is how the rens do I raise sec status back up? I trained fast talk to lvl 5 been running lvl 4s like a trooper and little to no gain. I heard somthing about 0.0 and going back and forth in a loop chaining bs's but there has got to be a non 0.0 way or something other then praying I can do to repent.

Will take you forever to get it back up killing mission rats. Low sec belt rats, the best you can find, are your better option. I think you want to kill rats in a number of systems too (can't quite remember the details). Go to some quiet expanse of low sec in a stealth bomber. Might take a while if you've been a particularly bad boy.

When doing missions, make sure to kill the biggest baddest looking pirate faction battleship available first.

Gives the biggest sec status increase as it only increases once every 15 minutes or so.

find a backwoods corner of lowsec, get an SB (like Hainnz mentioned), and go in a circuit between 5-6 systems (look on Dotlan for a lowsec area that goes in a circle). Kill a faction BS, move to the next system, repeat.

Or you can just join a nullsec/lowsec PvP corp and not care.

You must sacrifice the pods of 10 innocents before Concord will hear your pleas for amnesty. So far I haven't had too much luck but I believe my day will come. So until then... more pods.

Sure you could live out of a POS in high sec/ low sec and kill rats, nobody ever did it because it would take 2000 times longer. Null sec is just the quickest route available.

Sounds like the best option.

go out to 0.0 in a t3, t2 cruiser or bc and kill one npc battleship per system you move along to... this allows you get a nice sec boost in that 15min timer window (ratting in a single system killing lots of npc is actually alot slower at building up sec than killing one per system and moving on to the next system)

Step 2: Pop rats.

You can do it with missions just need 2-5 different missions up in different systems with different rats in them.

So like serpentis in dodixie mission up, Angels in aunia mission up, blood raiders missoin up close by.

Then cycle hitting BS in these missions, until its raised.

The reason people mention doing it in 0.0 is because most of 0.0 is completely empty, and to efficiently raise your sec status you should kill one NPC in a system, move to the next, kill one there, and make a loop. I know they changed the mechanics recently... I think it still works this way though. T3 cruiser with covert ops cloak (with covert ops subsystem) and interdiction nullification subsystem will ensure that you can get past any gatecamps that you come across on your way out to the desolate lands of null sec. I've gained sec status twice, and both times were a pain and mind-numingly boring, but the Tengu did the job for me, and I have never died while gaining security status. After you get to -1.9 you can safely go into any system in empire, so from there I found that just running level 4 misisons is the easiest way since you make "ok" money alongside gaining sec.

Honestly it's hard gaining security, and I likely won't go -10 again until they introduce some way for me to pay 500mil to get back to 0 from -10 or some crap. I also don't have any alts so that makes it all the more difficult when being barred from empire.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Security standings are raised by the highest bounty NPC you killed in a single system within a five minute period. In other words, if you are in the same system and wipe out a hundred NPCs in five minutes, only one will count toward your security status being raised.

So...what you do is find a set of systems one jump away from each other. Go in and kill ONE NPC per system over a five minute period of time. This isn't as easy as it might sound. WIth the right set of systems you MAY be able to get five kills. That's assuming you find an NPC quickly. Bear in mind it takes roughly a minute to transverse a system and jump into the next one.

Finding the right set of systems, then finding the right locations to find NPCs in each one, then setting up a circuit to quickly cycle through them is what you need to do this. If you spend an hour a day doing this...and I mean don't even take the time to loot/salvage or shoot more than one target....it's said by EVE University to be the fastest way to raise that security number.

Logically speaking then, the lower the sec status of the system, the higher the bounty, the higher the sec value returned on each kill.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

This is what I've done in the past. Works pretty well. I think you could go from a -10 to a -2 in a day if you were really motivated.

I think it's working well. Making the decision to go full pirate is a pretty big milestone for most players, and there are many that shy away due to the consequences.
