UI/HUD Glitch?

The UI/HUD while in space simply doesnt respond correctly or not at all. If I attempt to align to pretty much anything either directly in space or using the overview/UI, it either ignores my command or I just orbit in circles at 500m at my location. Only after constantly repeating the command it may or may not react instantly or waits a few seconds before carrying out the action. I lose enough ships on my own, dont really need the UI helping out. Very fustrating. I noticed this bug(?) occurring yesterday morning.
