Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Prologue

I use to have my own corp for many years, I would leave my corp from time to time to help people but normally came back to mine with in two or three weeks. I collected a vast amount of Corp assets while I was playing over the last four year. So much in fact that I could not fit everything into my "Items" section of the station like two times over. So I joined another corp about a month ago because I was tired of running the show and was looking for a new team that had the same interests as myself. I joined up and moved to there system.

Current Situation

My corp wanted to start running level four missions with me so I proceeded back to my old stomping grounds for missions and needed to setup a couple of ships. I dipped into one of my cans and wanted to store stuff I had collected prior to pulling. So I opened one and then went back to my items screen with the cans and stuff to store. It was a large amount so my cans where not actually one my page. I hit Ctrl-A to select all forgetting about the cans. and hit repackage... this so I could condense the stuff in my Station Vault containers because they where also pretty full and would only except stuff that would stack. Instantly my items window was full and I went OHHHHHHHH SNAPPPPPPPPP!!!! All of my cans emptied and dumped all of my items into my "Item" page of my station screen till it maxed and then proceeded to delete thousands of items. I lost everything I own except for like three of my seven cans. The three cans that where not deleted where Station equipment, Administrative(Likie Plex and implants) and some ammo from my weapons can. Everything else was a wash. Lost billions... I thankfully did not loose all of my stored ships because they just dumped to my hanger and I only had 200... not anywhere around the 1100 or so that tops out a page.


Sent in two bug reports on what happened because when I tried to restore what was left I lost more... about 626 items to be exact. So now I am not moving till my items get replaced or some type of compensation from CCP for this disaster. The problem was that a Station vault wont normally allow this but I had not used in over 3 weeks which is the time required to repackage them. I still think there should be some way to store more in a single page.

So there is my tears of sadness and I never want to see anyone else loose this amount of material.

happened to me also a while ago (around a year ago). Wasn't even sure what i lost since it was on a mission running station. I don't use containers anymore since than.

this bug is quite severe, CCP should try to fix those things first.

Sent the correct correspondence, thanks for trying to assist. Just wanted to make sure the bug reports where in. Still have nothing back from CCP on the Bug reports or the petitions.

Two weeks now, CCP has not responded to any of my corespondence. I am still awaiting any type of response from CCP. Even something in this forum from a GM would be nice. I have never had this problem in over four years of playing EVE where there was not some responce either that day or the next.
