The Large Cap Battery II module no longer seems to be having a reflection effect. We just tested this on TQ and Singularity.

Can anyone else confirm?
Is this a bug or was the effect removed and someone forgot to edit the description?

Bug, if it's not reflecting, though remember that the reflect chance is, as the name suggests, chance based, not guaranteed. Also, don't really know if it changes anything, did you use strictly player neuts/nos or let rats try an nos you? I've heard from some that cap bats don't reflect rat nos, but never tested it myself or seen official confirmation or correction.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

I don't understand where the chance thing comes from. In-game description reads "reflection amount", not chance.
Also, the modules used to work as a % not a chance before and not it stopped working altogether.

The reflect mechanic of the large capacitor battery is not working at all. The person using capacitor warfare against someone with a capacitor battery used to get a message that capacitor warfare was being used against them. However this message is no longer displayed.

I have tested if a large capacitor battery II is in fact reflecting a portion of neuts/ nos. The experiment is as follows:

This experiment uses an ishtar without a large capacitor battery II fitted as the victim and an omen as the ship utilizing capacitor warfare (3 medium gremlin compact energy neutralizer and 2 medium ghoul compact energy neutralizer) The Omen is cap stable (sustainable at 38.8%, this means that the lowest the capacitor level should go is 38.8%)

For the first part of the test I apply all neuts and nos to the ishtar that does not currently have a large capacitor battery II fitted. The ishtar does not run out of cap (as expected) and the omen goes down to about 38% (as expected). I then put a large capacitor battery II on the ishtar and the omen becomes more cap stable!! (not working as intended) Please find the video of this experiment attached.

My bad. It was chance based I thought when the reflect ability was first added and I had assumed it remained that way since I had never seen CCP alter the ability afterwords.

Bug report that and send it up the chain. Make sure to include a link to those vids so the Devs have some ammo to work with.
