Come on, let's be honest on that.

CCP won't answer to this thread, and ISD will lock it eventually. Why? Because we don't fit into narrative. Remember, EVE is dark and dangerous place. There is no place for such things as cool looking ship skins.

I really don't get it. Like on some fanfest presentation we were shown video, where totally random skins were created, using completely random colors and vinyls [I don't know, how to call them]. Why can't we do it? It was quite a lot of time between this video and present.

Also, thanks to CCP underestimating players, we KNOW, that every skin is applicable on EVERY ship. Literally. I've fought in one fleet, where people were applying miscellanous fits to their omens, and we fought enemy fleet, doing the same on their HACs. Not a single hickup.

I'm not going to pay 2000 AUR for skins, that are available currently in AUR shop. They're too expensive. I'm not going to pay equivalent of PLEX to get a skin for my Stabber, which still looks bad [I am looking at you, Justice Skin line]. In my opinion, the only good looking skins are Sanctuary Stratios... in my opinion. Remember Sarum Stratios? Yeah, me too...

If you want to deny us any form of customising the game, CCP, at least tell us, why. And please refrain from standard tactic - hiding your head in sand every time players get upset, won't work.

While I can understand that EVE is dark universe and all... but damn, there is always that one guy who WILL paint his war rig in pink, violet, neon green and will stick some teddy bears on it. Just because he can.
