Hosting for web apps to be used in-client?

I'm a somewhat novice developer working on a database-driven application. I've been testing some concepts with free hosting, just to see that my code works. I'm getting ready to take it to the next level and start populating a database with the results, but I don't trust my meager skills to secure it.

What I'm looking for is somewhere I can build apps that has a layer of security. I remember years ago someone built a set of tools that we used in the eve browser that were hosted on Google, but I can't figure out where she did that. It allowed a whitelist-style access where we just signed in with a google account and used the tools. I'm hoping that makes more sense to you than it does to me when I proofread it.

So you dont need an app on google's platform to use googles oauth2 to restrict access.
For hosting, there are some options in the sell forums for providers giving hosting services.
Otherwise you could go with almost any host provider as long as they support your chosen language at the version you need it at.
What language are you writing your tool in? Php? Python?

My experience lies almost entirely in PHP, but at this point I feel like I'm rebooting anyway and might just make the jump to a new language if someone can make a better recommendation.

The idea of the app is to gather information from the client and from the clipboard and store it in a useful way. I know there are some public apps out there that will analyze clipboard information, but I'm trying to build something that allows me to track trends in local population and dscan results over time...and I want to limit access to that data. So I'll be pulling location information from the client and taking a copy/paste of several different things and parsing them into useful data. I'm still in the design phase of figuring out how to lay out my databases in a meaningful way, so jumping to a new language isn't throwing out much code.

warning i am not a coder...but i look thru the tech forums of multiple sites on a daily basis and have gleaned a few things

the IGB (in game browser) is being removed from Eve according to CCP ...not sure if coding for the IGB is a useful thing or not anymore.

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

"I really need a new boat," I thought to myself.

This. Especially for a newer coder, wasting time with the igb at this point is not the way to go

Wait...the IGB is going away?

What's that going to mean for the convenience of stuff like evewho and dotlan? I'm so behind on this.

So CCP has openly said they want to remove the IGB.
They are looking into alternatives for the functionality that the igb currently has.
