Station noise.

Is there a way/can a way be implemented that would allow us to mute station noises without having to turn down "world level". In case you don't know what I'm on about, its those weird little beeps, buzzes and tannoy announcements you get when you're docked up. At the moment, it's either put up with station noise over my music/TV or mute ALL world noises, gunshots, warp effects etc. As they add nothing to the game can we get a little check box to disable station noise please.

Is there a way I could do this if CCP can't be bothered? Can I dig around in some sound files and delete "annoying beep 1" and "incomprehensible tannoy announcement 2".

Your suggestion has been added to Team Avatar's backlog.
This unfortunately does not mean that I can guarantee it's arrival anytime soon as we naturally have to prioritize our work accordingly, but it's now on our radar.

I agree with the idea though, more customisation etc. please CCP :P

please also have a look at granularity of sound settings in general, especially also regular background noise (not only in station) and

alignment, warp, jump, abort: sound+voice feedback, audio settings granularity

In general, more granularity in Eve's User experience settings would be great, be it sound, UI or graphics & lighting.

You don't have to listen to be bleeps, the sweeps, and the creeps. Just jam it!
