If you are serious about spending more time in WHs make yourself a Tripwire account, its a free wormhole mapping tool and will help you keep track of your chain.

remember to bookmark both sides of the wormhole and use a convention you can remember to easily find your way out and navigate around.

show info on each wormhole and make sure none say 'reaching the end of its natural life' if it says this it means it has less than 4 hours left and within that time it will despawn and you will lose that connection.

I disconnected in midwarp to a site.
When I got out of warp and nothing responded, the socket closed.

Now I'm in my pod and just logged the **** out. -.-

I like this thread! It's not a rant, but a journal of a wormhole experience. That's why I enjoy reading it. Please keep the posts coming! :)

If you came back into the game after a socket close, and you were in your pod, consider writing a petition to CCP. Other explorers probably saw your ship on d-scan and combat probed it and either popped it or stole it.

I was looking into this before I logged off angrily because of the disconnect.

Haven't logged in since, but will do so again.
