Hello

Im planing to back to eve after 6years break. And I have a few questions about Faction warfare.
My main goal is PVP, but for pvp you always need ISK. I want to join Faction Warfare, and i have few question, what is the fastest way for making isk in Faction Warfare for my 3mil SP charracter (most sp in drones (can use T2, ~1,6kk sp) and gallente ships) What should i do and what ship should i use for making isk?

The other question is - to which faction should i join and why? I thinking about Gallente(I read that gallente have hardest pve in faction warfare) or Caldari, i want to fly gallente and caldari ships if its matter.

And I would like to apologize for my english - still learning.

There are plenty of videos out there that give tutorials on FW.

I've seen videos that show players how to make decent isk in faction warfare on day old characters. Of course the isk is made by learning how to avoid fights but the point is that you don't need skill points nor isk to be profitable in faction warfare.

Of course I understand that you want to PvP as well so I am not advising you to just farm the empty sites. I am just saying that you can join whenever you want.

I'm hoping that someone that knows FW better than me comes along and responds to this but if not I'll pass on what I've read about this on previous posts.

I've read that FW has some spies in it so if you want to get involved in fleet stuff you will need to build the trust of some of the fleets.

I don't think that there is really any advantage to joining one over the other aside from what the LP are worth and access to hubs.

My best advice would be to go to the various FW areas in cheap or free ships and talk with the locals. Try to find a group that you think you would enjoy flying with and join up with them. I think that who you are flying with is probably a lot more important that who's flag you are flying under.

In fw I see a lot of complaints about farmers with all WCS in lows that just milk sites and then run away being hard to pin down. Something to be aware of before you go in, or maybe you want to adopt the same tactic and milk tears.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

Lose a ship with warp core stabs, then fit for combat, they look at the killboard think your a runner and go into the plex with that in mind and then.....blam.

FW is a great starting point for pvp. The ships needed are cheap, there are all skill levels about and there is action found from solo to mid sized fleets.

Making isk is tough in FW, especially with only 3m sp although you can easily farm plex with a low sp alt that makes a few hundred mil a month, couple that with pi that's also low sp and making enough isk to lose frigs daily should be pretty easy. There is also the option of joining a corp. Larger and established corps in FW sometimes have ship replacement policies (SRP's) which can cover every pvp loss you ever make. However, with only 3m sp it amy be tough getting into those corps. If you're unable to get into a FW corp due to that, you can greatly improve your chances by joining the NPC FW corp which will let you join public FW fleets and pvp against the opposing faction. Having an active pvp killboard is one of the first things a recruiter will check. Even a kb full of red is good to have, it'll show you're eager to learn and get out there.

Caldari and Gals are the most active in the moment, especially in the Black Rise region. The ship types change regularly and are not faction specific. We fly what is best suited to the current situation, we're more interested in using the best equipment available than is staying in only caldari or gallente hulls.

for starters, join a decent FW corp., when i say decent, i mean a corp. who does FW shenanigans like offensive and defensive plexing while pvping, and who helps in capturing/seiging/defending systems.

so through offensive and defensive deplexing you'll gain LPs in which you can use to redeem sellable stuff from the LP store. personally, i redeem and sell datacores for quick isk and faction bpcs (like the comet) for a higher isk/lp ratio. you can also sell implants, faction ammos, faction modules, etc.

after some time, you can also do PI in your home and neighboring systems for that passive income.

FW: you make money by capturing / defending objectives (complexes) and gaining Loyalty Points (LP). You can then spend the LP in the FW LP-store and get various rare-ish items which you can then sell on the player market for money.

The PVP fights happen as a consequence of this "capturing" and "defending". However, as noted above, some people try to get the LP points but avoid the PVP fights, so they set up their ships for "run away" and "capture" empty uncontested plexes, and run away if anyone shows up.

You should try to find a good FW corp, because they'll help you PVP better, and introduce some social interaction to replace the boredom of looking for targets and everyone either running away or killing you fast because they're veterans and you're new.

Thanks for answers, im already join caldari militia. But i have few problems, I flew a couple of hours near Tama system, and in all systems I've seen the superior forces of the gal militia. Is it always like that? Or i pick wrong systems for solo(or with friend) roams ?Are there any systems for offensive plexing with a small amount of gal players?

Sir, all caldari scum needs to die. Good day.

Seriously, avoid tama, there's always a gate camp there. And yes GalMil dominates the warzone now, infact we captured the entire warzone last year, i mean 2014, and calmil have not shown a strong comeback since then. Braves joined calmil but not much happened and was kicked out from thier home system kinakka.

I don't know if cal has open fleets but as ive said in my post above, you need to join a corp who are active and do fw activities like plexing. Plexing alone is worst than mining, imho.
