Anti-blob ship

My idea of nerfing Blobs vs Not-blobs would be through a new kind of counter-blob ship which efficiency increased the more enemies are fighting back and decreased the more allies it got.

Maybe through a FoF type of weapon who randomly attacked non-fleet members in range. The damage dealt by this new and amazing weapon could increase according to the amount of damage its target is receiving (if its target is in its same fleet) and decrease by a factor of the relationship between the number of ships in its own fleet and the damage dealt by ships outside its fleet received by its friendly target within its fleet. To prevent abuses it could prioritize those enemies who deal the more damage.

If such a thing were possible... anything that could kill that many Supercaps, or even disable them; would be so OP as to be completely ludicrous. I'm fairly certain there is no way to balance it.

I do have an idea though:

It involves causing a star to go Critical mass and SuperNova or turn into a black hole. Unfortunately, the system will no longer be usable, but that should balance it out.

What do you think?

Way to go attacking the "blob problem" from the wrong angle.

No, that's hypercaps, counter to dupercaps. 12 months to build, 1 trillion isk.

ideas keep popping up for allowing you to load ships with explosives and set them off to do AoE damage, I think this would work far better, that said, I do agree generally the need for anti-blob ships to be put into the game, we desperately need something to counter gate camps, but I'd gladly throw freighters full of explosives at them if it meant they'd stop no matter how expensive it would be.
