[EVEMON] How create a blank test char with 0 SP

Hi girls, hi boys o/


I need to create a blank character with no skills at all (0 skillpoints). The tool in EVEMON can create blank char, but always with the basis Skills (depending of the Race you choose).

How can i remove a skill on a test character ? Question

I try editing the XML character file in My Docs folder, by removing all the skills, race, bloodline data, but that doesn't work :the Test Character always have these basis skills whan i lanch again EVEMON (i think EVEMON use an another file saved elsewhere).

1. Export that character in xml format (File > Export character).
2. Edit the xml (Remove all xml node of 'skill').
3. Re-import the modified xml character (Manage API keys > Characters > Import > Use File).

I have a similar question, I have an alt with 5,000,000 unallocated skill points, trying to figure out a way to figure out how to spend them the best in EVEMon.

There have been several opinions on this. You could find old threads, but tbh it hasn't come up in a long time.

The general concept, is to spend them on skills you are NOT mapped for. Skills that you would train at the slowest rate. That gives you the most bang for your buck, from a time savings approach.
I chose long skills, like fighter drones V, BS V, etc.
I also cut some skills in half. For instance, if Black Ops V was a 34 day skill for me, I cut 17 days off and trained it for 17.

Nothing says you have to use them all at once. Having a bank of skill points is also nice.

Not sure if that answered your question pertaining to Evemon exactly, but I just wanted to post the basic approach.

1. Make a plan for that alt.
2. On the plan window to the right there is 'wrench' icon called 'Preferences'. Click on that.
3. Select 'Column Settings'.
4. Chose 'Skill Points Required'. It will add a new column in the plan editor called (you guessed it) 'Skill Points Required'.
5. Add the skill levels you want.
6. Do the math by adding the SP for each skill level.
7. ???
