Graphics awful when you zoom out (even a tiny bit)

Grateful for any help on this - my client is displaying graphics REALLY badly on ships.

If I'm zoomed right the way in it looks fine, but if I zoom even a tiny way out, it replaces the detailed textures with a blurry mess.

I have noticed it since the December patch (8th I think it was).

I've tweaked all the graphics settings in the settings menu, nothing seems to work.

If I do the zoom inside station, it's fine, it's just when I'm undocked.

Have you tried increasing LOD Quality to High? If so, maybe update your graphics driver.
