UPDATE.

No attempts were made during this second three-hour high sec roam. As such, I am calling it here for now and it will resume again on Sunday.

That's a shame, I was just trying to track you down :D You passed through a system with my scanning alt so I checked out your fit in Pyfa. Unfortunately there's no way I can take you out solo and I have no one to assist me, so I decided to track you down and follow you until someone does the job for me, and then try to ninja the loot.

Oh well, at least I know I can stop trying for today and go do other things. Guess I'll try again on Sunday.

I noticed I got scanned twice coming back from Hek, through the Deltole area, once each time I did the trip, (I assume one of them was you, maybe the Gnosis?) and I was also tracked by someone I know's alt in a Buzzard all the way from Sivala to Neesher, and part way back again. So I know people know I'm out there, I know they want it. I'll try again on Sunday ^_^

I was in a Gnosis, but not in Deltole - Sinq Laison :) Any general timeframe you can give for Sunday, or is it the same as your original post?

Also, thanks for willing to take one for the team and organizing this, should be pretty fun when more people find about it and start competing for the kill and then for the loot :D I just hope the loot fairy is merciful and doesn't choose to destroy all the PLEX, even if I don't manage to snatch it :)

Deltole is in Sinq. Sinq is a region, Deltole a system. But I said 'the Deltole area', can't remember the exact system, but would have been Deltole, Aufay or Balle more than likely.

Deltole didn't really ring a bell, so I assumed it's a region. But yeah, it was around that area.

When you cargo scan someone, the game makes a little ping-hiss noise when you do it, for the person you're scanning, so the passive targeter is a bit redundant for cargo scanning, just FYI.

There's also the visual effect. But many people have sound off, have music playing over it, or don't know what the sound is if they do hear it. Can't hurt having it in any case, at least it makes things less obvious.

I'm going to have to call this to a close, unfortunately. I will plan it out better for next year and try to organise myself to be available for as many time zones as possible. That being said, I am Australian, as I noted in the OP, and it will be a challenge to make myself available for all time zones in a fair and efficient manner to give everyone the same chance. I have spent many long hours flying around in high sec, though not today, as I said I would - the thought of doing it again today just made me feel tired right away.

Anyway, I apologise for not being able to see this through, and wish you all a wonderful new year full of great adventures.
