EVEmail error message--what to do?

There is something wrong with the mail cache files. Try clearing the mail cache from the ESC menu and check that the hard drive is not full.

I can't find anything from the ESC menu. I tried drilling into the CCP files on my hard drive and couldn't find anything, either.

My hard drive is not full.

Please help. I'm not computer-savvy enough.

Where did you see the error?

Edit: I found some cache files in C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bulkdata but I'm not sure what happens if you delete them. There used to be a way to clear the cache from the escape menu but I can't seem to locate it anymore (that menu UI changes often).

It pops-up when I try to read an unread mail (of which I am notified). Then, it pops-up randomly (but probably because I have the window open).

In game press ESC key to see the settings window. In the settings window locate the tab 'Reset Settings' and click it.
Exactly in the middle of the window you should see now the option Clear Mail-Cache.

Or, what you could do is in true CCP style, delete boot.ini
