Hi Grauth,

Can you help me?

Having 2 issues here, see image.

http://i.imgur.com/S1LF7Wi.png

1. I can't get the distance text to align with the other text, it's like there is a space there. I noticed it in your pdf also, but it seems like somewhere along the way you fixed it. On page 13 the distance text, under the ship type, seems to be a little to the right.

2. Whenever I view a drone or cargo container or something like that, the distance changes to the color of the ship type and jumps up, when it should be underneath.

Here is a pastebin of the xml.

Thanks

Hey dosomeflips,

The closest I could get is this: http://pastebin.com/XeQi1QKs

1. The distance is indented by the client, because in a normal situation it's all shown on a single-line. To fix this I started every other line with a space which makes the alignment better. (not perfect, but it's as close as you can get).

2. Sadly enough the only fix for this problem was to switch the ship name and the ship type components. The ship name isn't used by the client on containers/drones and such, so the colors and newline tags aren't shown either.

The pastebin file has both of these changes. Hope this helps,
Grauth Thorner

You aren't closing your HTML tags in the same order as they are opened. This leads to a bug which makes your program pretty unusable. :(

I just did a test and they're all closed properly. Do you have an example which shows that it indeed isn't closed properly? And could you describe the bug you're having?

On a side note:
The exported output is XML, not HTML, and most tags are self-closing.

I don't remember, but I ended up just editing the xml manually.

Strange, you are the first person to mention this so I guess something went wrong with the export. Should you, or anyone else, come across this bug, please send me the exported xml-file and I'll fix it.

I almost forgot! It can also be found on Feyds blog, which is a nice blog to learn a lot about EVE, plus I always considered it fun to read.

Interesting tool here. DL'd, but haven't run yet. Was wondering if this file was ran through http://virustotal.com or checked by CCP yet? I only read through the first 5 pages of this thread.

Sorry for the late reply. I personally haven't (ofc) but, even though my word probably means nothing to you, I can assure you that it isn't needed either.

On a side note: I would say at least one person, or CCP, would've posted on/closed this thread if it wasn't legit.

Today exactly three years ago, the EVE Custom Ship Labeler app was launched. Now, three years later, people are still showing interest in the app, and for that I want to thank you!

When I launched the app, I expected it to be used for approx six months, maybe one year. After that I expected competition from other sources like websites bringing the same functionality, but with perhaps a slightly better accessibility. Luckily this was not the case and instead a lot of you have been using this app. I'm glad to see people still using it and still showing appreciation for the app.

Thanks a lot to everyone for all the likes, messages, donations and support. On to the next three years and of course a happy new year to all of you!
