The Eos is a fine command ship. It has ample CPU for the command modules and is nicely tanked in armor and hull. It even does decent DPS.

So, why does it not have sufficient room for a full set of drones from 5x small to 5x sentry and 5x utility (light armor repair or salvage)? It's a tech II ship with an extensive skill training queue and good utility.

And an undersized drone bay.

Because it's a Command Ship...?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

No, you can't whine, unless you got WAINS whining permit. So, buy it now, it's just 1 bil per year.

On serious note, Eos is one of a few Gallente ships that's NOT broken in terms of CCP public statements/CCP actual decisions segregation. Gallente supposed to have huge yet oddball bands (Encouraging mixing drone types should you aim for maximum dps) while not being able to have a lot of choices. Basically, NONE of Gallente subcaps supposed to be capable of carrying two full max size flights, save the explicitly specialized drone ships, which, in turn, supposed to NEVER be capable of 3 full max size flights.
In fact, oddball supposed to be a whole definition of gallente. odd missile hardpoint, odd quantity of guns (Giving you quite some head scratching on splits), odd ship design, odd EWAR, odd bonuses, odd , odd, odd.

Why, it's almost like it was designed by someone aware of the fact that every other fleet command has to share the high slots used for their bonused weapon with their command links.

What does it matter, anyhow? There's no good reason to ever have a fleet command ship in combat right now, and I'd imagine they'll all get a balance pass once OGB dies in a fire.

I was going to use it to hand out bonuses for others doing PvE while doing PvE myself....

The Eos used to be able to use 5 Sentries or 5 Heavies back before there was drone bandwidth. It also used to share the Brutix hull instead of the Myrm. At least one of those changes was good...

Will they be getting a 3rd command ship bonus then or will we be losing the replaced bonus?

What about the very slender drone bay of the Eos?

3rd bonus, and I think the Eos' drone bay will be quite sufficient, especially considering that we're leaning it slightly towards the shorter range brawler role.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.
