New Launcher and Wine

Hello,

I am running Eve using Wine on my Mac.
The old launcher and Eve are both running great.

Now I tried to install the new launcher. Unfortunately I fail to get it working.
When I start the new launcher nothing visible happens. The launcher doesn't come up, there is no error message, nothing. The Wine taskmanager shows evelauncher.exe running.

Is there anybody who runs the new launcher on a Mac using Wine?

Btw, I am using Wine 1.8-rc4 from http://http://www.kronenberg.org/

Why not try to just download the Mac version. And play from there.

The Mac version of the Eve client isn't as stable as running it inside Wine.
In addition it runs faster ans smoother using Wine.

It looks like something has changed. Either the latest Play On Mac version or CCP fixed something. But I'm now able to run the Launcher with version EveLauncher-995234.exe.

Give it a shot and see if it works now for you. If not, try upgrading Play On Mac and try again.

Yes, the latest version of the new launcher (EveLauncher-995234.exe) changed something!
Now the new launcher runs with Wine (1.8-rc4; http://www.kronenberg.org/).
