Launcher throwing errors

Today the launcher has decided to start throwing errors up:

Sorry, but an error occured while processing your request.
Error code: CD7AADE0-DCC6-4167-8C25-5F456A24D746


It's a different code each time, but every time I try to start the game, I get nothing but a similar error to that posted.

Any suggestions?

Im using Steam and it launches the EVE launcher.

I think the most annoying part is there's nowhere to enter my account details to log in manually. The launcher just flat out is having a fail moment.

as a workaround ..

eve install folder has folder called "bin" there is a exefile that can be used to bypass the launcher .. might need to tweak around with settings afterwards as the new launcher conncets client with setting profile .. so logging in with exefile first time might give u clean sheet from settings ..

exefile doesn't seem to exist in there at all (and eve repair tool doesn't find anything wrong).

Hopefully it's something that'll sort itself out.

Any of the others with this problem confirm it's ok for them now?

for future reference ..

for the new launcher the ecefile is located in C:\EVE\SharedCache\tq\bin .. first bit may vary considering your setup ..

running it will generate a new "settings" folder in the appdata .. dump one set of char and account files into it so u wont get a clean sleet when u need to use it :)
