Here's a few I did last week (amount of slavage & drops):
Serpentis Extravaganza 8 mil
Dread Pirate 22 mil
Gone Berserk 14 mil
Vengeance 13 mil
The Blockade 10 mil

Those literally take a few minutes per room in a decent noctis. Marauders are also nice for the job, but will slow down your bounty ticks a bit.

You're not taking into account warping to and from the sites and reshipping. In a fast Machariel, with Warp Velocity rigs and implants you're looking at around 30-45 sec from sector to sector. A normal BS, without implants or rigs you'll be lucky to get across most sectors in 2min. Noctis is similarly slow. The actual salvaging and looting, especially if using MTUs is quite quick but it'll still be faster to do it in a marauder while you're shooting stuff and just grabbing the BS wrecks. Simply because you're not wasting double or triple your time in warp.

That said if you like that kind of thing by all means.

I like how you got the subtle dig in there... Having to come back with a Noctis is less efficient than salvaging as you go with a Marauder. The numbers you quote most likely include the 8m implant that Scarlet drops regardless, so in reality the take is around 14m. Marauders are perfectly fine for grinding through missions.

I do do that but not to you in this case, lol. I think you make it pretty clear your'e using 3 accounts; I'm saying people claiming to make 100 mil an hour+ with one account.

So 2 minutes to get there, 3 minutes to salvage, 2 minutes to get back. 2 nanos and an expanded cargohold in your noctis will salvage any single mission. Gone berserk would be about 135M an hour at 10 minutes. So would DPS without the implant drop. Serpentis Extravaganza would be about 80 mil an hour. Damsel in distress would be like 200 on a good day, 125 on a bad.

I only use the noctis when using a regular BS for the mission, but they average out to be very similar in income. The noctis is on a different character on the same account so it takes a couple minutes to log in and out (twice). The more missions you consolidate, the more time you save.

It's next to impossible to make 100m ISK/hour if you skip Burner and series missions like "Enemies". Even then, it really comes down to luck of the draw (sooner or later you run into a dry patch or your standings drop to the point where you can no longer decline missions as often).

I think a realistic number for Marauders is probably somewhere in the 50-60m ISK/hour range, regardless if you shoot everything, shoot and loot or blitz for fast completion. Even with multiple characters I find I'm averaging 40-50m ISK/hour with occasional bursts to 80-100m ISK or higher - but these are the exceptions rather than the rule.

Btw, just tried using a point on Anire in room 2...doesn't work. She bails once the disruptor lands. I could try a scram next time, but doubt it will be any different. Scarlet was a glitchy mission when it first came out. I still remember horror stories of people trying to run the rooms, then returning in a Noctis and getting ambushed by bugged respawns. There was even rare moments of spawns not triggering at all in at least one of the rooms, or Anire not appearing until room 4.

Still, for little more than the 20 or so minutes to get a bounty tic, +20M bounty (more if you, like me, run room 4 to completion), nearly 9K in LP, about 4M at turn-in, and a +3 slot 5 ain't bad at all, so can't really complain much. Shame I can't get that double kill in a missile platform, but it's not the end of the world.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Doesn't work, I've tried many times in the past when I couldn't use Marauders.

Now I just group my Tachyons loaded with Navy Multi (Arty + Republic EM rounds if using a Vargur), heat guns and blast her off the field everytime.

Yeah cause 10-20 million in Salvage isn't worth it at all...

A long time ago I used to spend the time looting and salvaging missions.

From memory the only difference between L4's and the lower rated missions was the volume of 'stuff' collected.

basically .. the same ****, just more of it.

if I'm going to make 30m in isk/lp in that same time then right it isn't worth it.

Not that I disbelieve you, 'cause I really don't know, but what missions have 10-20M in salvage? Most missions I've ran I'd be lucky to see more than about 5-6M in salvage IF I salvage absolutely everything. The most I've seen was a good 8M from BR Blockade. Most of the time, I just let my salvage drones go OFP and get what they can unless I need my hobs to chew up tackle, then I pull them in and bounce when I'm done, leaving the rest.

I'm scratching my head as well, to be honest. I've never managed to salvage more than a few million ISK (tops) off any given mission. Loot and implant drops are another story.
