Hey guys,

first of all i am running a Rig with:

Display: 2x AOC E2495SH 60,9 cm (24 Zoll) Monitor (VGA, HDMI, 2ms Reaktionszeit, 1920 x 1080)
Board: Asus Z170-P D3 Intel Z170 So.1151 Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4x 4.00GHz So.1151 TRAY
GPU: Zotac 760 GTX
RAM: 2x 8GB HyperX FURY schwarz DDR3-1866 DIMM CL10 Dual Kit (16 GB total)
Watercooling for CPU (Cooler Master Seidon 120V)
HDD: Raptor 248 GB 10k rpm // 150 mb/s read & write
SSD: 120GB HyperX FURY 2.5" (6.4cm) SATA 6Gb/s MLC asynchron (SHFS37A/120G)
Connection: vDSL 200 mbit/s with Fritzbox 7360 and connected via LAN-cable

Windows 10 newest Nvidia driver, IS-Boxer and eve are installed on my SSD, i usually quadbox, limiting all nonactive clients to 10 fps and the active Client to 30 fps, all Settings are on low, anti aliasing is off, no drone models, but I am using turret- and missileeffects.

As soon as more than ~ 30 Playerships are on grid my FPS is dropping rapidly (>25fps), with ~ 100 on grid I'm down to 5 fps (however i never get below 5 fps), even when I limit myself to 4 Clients (max. is 7 at the same time).
I'd expect a rig like this to perform better, so my quesiton is, what can i do to improve my fps and if i can't change settings to improve it, any ideas which Hardware I should upgrade?!

Thanks in advance
RC

they key number "760":

you have a 4 years old low end graphic card (in nvidia world "x60" is the "best" low end, and "x70" is the start of real performance)

so plugin this in this rig is like, well no analogy comes to mind, but still, you get the point.

just to compare : a 970gtx will output over 400fps in space aound a gate with traffic, and still over 150 around jita 4-4
for lower cpu/motherboard hardware

but let's compare what's comparable and also, let's take a step back : do you really hope to run a fleet fight with 4 active "DISPLAYED" screen?
or do you switch to the others and run only one displayed?
There is no sane rig setup capable of outputing 60 FPS on multiple client in a fleet fight... (sane being under 1k USD without screen)

my point is: non minimized client will hog gpu resource, if you can, run in windows mode WITH the title bar, and use the minimize button, you should see some difference in FPS if you do that
(I run multiple client on a single screen, I have a small PowerShell script that minimize eve client automatically if the client is not focused, I can see a huge improvement in FPS, this however is not working with 2 screens as it will minimize all the clients not on the main screen...)

sadly i m usually dualboxing logia, hic and commandship, i need to keep an eye on all 4 screens :/
but i agree, a 970 GTX is on my list

well good luck with that, my second screen is an old 4/3 screen so I never used it with eve, but now that there is profiles in the launcher I'll try set up an account on this 2nd screen and try with 2 displayed game on my gtx; I'll let you know the FPS with both in amarr or jita and firework.

but not now, probably tomorrow
