Effective Cruiser or Battlecruiser for WH sites

Hi guys,

Looking for a cheap but effective cruiser/BC for WH space. I've used frigs and T3D's, so not really familiar with cruiser-size and up in WH space. Any suggestions for a T1/T2 cruiser or T1 battlecruiser that can do sites nicely? What do you use?

My related skills are max.

What class of wormhole are you going to be in since any battlecruiser is a lossmail waiting to happen in any c4-6 anomaly.

Thanks for reminding me, totally forgot to mention that!

c1 to 3 basically, since I'm used to that with T3D's. c4+ no go in bc?

Nope you may be able to deal with most sleeper sites in a Drake in class 3 and below but in a c4 one Sleepless Defender, Upholder and Preserver will vaporize you - hint the easiest one starts with 2 of them.

In a c5 and c6 a "small gank" of Sleepless Guardians only need to look in your direction once - boom. And nope, you will not be able to warp away in time even with links and snakes or whatever you think you can do.

I have heard that it can be done in a marauder class vessel in c4 and up but I never tried that. The c5/6 population is very ferengi and don't like to share the wealth - and crying that they don't get "content" when they farm bajillions and expect everyone else to have the same.

Shocked whats the secret? we use capitals.... and yes its possible to do C5's in a marauder but then you miss out on escalations.

Not much point in C2-C1 sites... get a T3 cruiser or a rattler or something similar and do C3's... drake is BAD! dont use it for WH sites period...

Yeah I've taken a Tengu into WH sites a couple of times, but I'd rather fly something cheaper. Something that can also more easily handle the incoming damage and do more damage than a 60km+ railgun Hecate or beam Confessor.

Would a Rook or Cerberus perform nicely? I'm training drone supporting skills atm for effective drone boats, Ishtar a good idea in these sites?

What?

Are you being serious, a Rook? What class of wormhole did you fly your Tengu in? You know the Caldari boat that was custom made for w-space in the first place.

And while a Drake might not be the best ship for w-space anomalies, it can be done.

Arbitrator, Vexor, Omen works just fine for me in C1-C2. especially the Arbitrator.
any BC with proper fit can do C3. (i try all except Caldari).

the pithum resistance mods are cheap as **** ( a few mill 2 or 3) maybe the EM one is around 20 mill max

use a mobile depot and change the shield power relays for BCs, drone damage amps depending on how much tank you need

the gila tanks 600 dps omi and the drake 1000 dps , gila has way better dps

Unless you have perfect skills, you will be slaughtered in a BC in a c3.
