Ok, so funny story....

A toon named loyalty Inspector (tora bushido alt) joins my corp as I let in newbros to provide them content. He loses a bestower purposely to marmite 1.0. The bestower shows as 25 bill on zkillboard but yet is worth 1.4 million isk for real. I would link the actual killmail, but its not allowed.

The fact that marmite 1.0 sets up such a rediculous ploy to pad their killboard delights me. I assured my friend loyalty inspector (floral burrito)that it was his intentional loss that made an imaginary emotional boost for himself, whose empire is crumbled beyond repair..

It's a good thing here at The Marmite Collective 2.0 that we find zkillbaord obsolete and prone to manipulation.

Happy Hunting Marmite 2.0, we have targets galore! Big smile

EDIT : I confirmed the character's true identity as they logged in and out of each other within 20 seconds several times. If this loss is true to value.........he spent at least $600 US on plex. Let's all point and laugh, I am.

People have lots of names for Marmite, I don't think many people actually call it TMC, though. Mermaids is my preference.

Bestower loss mail linked in my HYM8 channel. It's only worth 1.4 mill. In discussion with owner of zkillboard to get it expunged.

Quite hilarious and shows a desperation on tora's part.

Contracts and opportunist kills are what we do. Thousands of targets and killboard manipulators are only part of the fun! Have a great day!

Edit : pic looks dumb and innapropriate. You scramble back to your station whenever anything challenging comes your way. And it would seem you only undock in a tanked geddon....only when the kill is assured 100%.

EDIT EDIT : The Marmite Collective 1.0 war open for allies/opportunists and people looking for dummies to kill.

Sorry to be off topic here and as we have so many Mercenary in this post I'd like to ask is the meaning of the word Mercenary in Eve is the same as real world meaning

a professional soldier hired to serve in a foreign army.


In eve many merc's seem to war dec random small mining corp (which they pay for the war them selves) and hanging about trade hub for easy kills and killright scams.

So, is it they don't understand the meaning or is there not much work about
Don't get me wrong if you want to war dec 10 corp a day hoping for a fight , fine by me but the word Merc doesn't seem to fit, maybe people can think of other words that do fit so said people can change corp description.

People pay us to shoot things. Between jobs we shoot things for fun, or to extort for money.

It's also very good advertising to utterly ruin somebody's week. Kind of a "see how bad that sucked? Want someone else to experience that? Pay us money and your hated rival can be our next target."
