Am I the only one unable to see mouse cursor?

Well I thought I would play eve today, but after logging in I could not see my mouse cursor. I have rebooted several times, etc., and I still cannot see it. Parts of the screen will light up when it apparently passes over them, but game not playable.

I do not see any other posts about it. It could just be me, and if so, it is something on this end. So I am posting this to try to find out.

I figured it out, and since this may be of some help to another, I will explain.

I have enabled magnifier on my display options. I do a lot of reading, and sometimes the print is pretty small.
I thought back over whether I had changed anything, and I remembered this.
I went to the control panel and turned it off.
Then tried the game.

That is what it was.

Thanks for posting the answer. There's nothing worse than doing a Google search for a problem, only to find the person never posted the solution, or even worse, just says "Nevermind, I fixed it" and doesn't explain how.

If this reading is mostly done in browsers, pressing control and then scrolling up and down will zoom in and out (or ctrl +, ctrl-). To go back to 100% control+zero.

I could think of worse things...like, maybe a sink hole swallows your house, while you're still in it.

There just isn't anything that can be said!

Within context, of course. :)

Yea, now if another player complains about a cursor disappearing, one of us might remember this post and be able to help the player.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

Pressing "Ctrl+F9" causes the game to remove all overview screens.
Pressing "Alt+F9" causes the game to remove the cursor.

Pressing them again reverses that.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?
