Thank you CCP.
Thank you for creating a playing environment that I never tire of. Thank you for making so much eye candy that I often just stop and look around and take close looks at the other ships as they fly nearby.

Thank you for running your company so well. Thank you for providing great support and for managing the forums and miscellaneous websites so well.

You are doing a great job. Can I become an Icelander? Your women are so hot! Do they like Americans?

I even like your background music. I turn it down but I never turn it off. It is uncanny how soothing and unobtrusive it is.

Thank you CCP.

Well said, Kennedy.

Not much to add except to change the, "Do they like Americans?" to "Do they like Canadians?".

The only thing I could disagree with is the turning the music off bit. Not that I dislike Eve's score, it certainly has a very fitting sense to it in Eve, but sometimes I need something a bit...harder, or heavier, or even just different I suppose is a better word. So, sometimes I have some tracks from Trailer Music World's channels blaring through my speakers to give the action on screen some "umph" as it were.

Btw:

http://www.youtube.com/user/TrailerMusicWorldI
http://www.youtube.com/user/park0urfreak1 (that's TMW II)

Both have a wide catalog of some of the best composers and musicians I've heard in a long while. Btw, I also somehow left the score from Starseige Tribes 2 in my playlist and never thought to remove them. Those help too.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

They don't get passed around as often, but my personal favorites are actually tracks you don't hear in Eve anymore...Trinity and Apocrypha themes. Apocrypha's theme was the very first one I ever heard and it's just stuck with me ever since. Trinity is by far, in my opinion, the best one of them all. They're all great, but Trinity really hits home in a perfect way and drives a sense of Eve being grand and epic in scale, almost like when you look past the cold dark of space and how lethal an environment it is, it has a kind of beauty and awe to it. It just fits Eve so well -- unforgiving and dark, but at the same time, wondrous and grand.

For me it's really a tie between Trinity Theme and Below the Asteroids. Trinity for theme tracks and BtA for in game tracks.

Chiming in with the OP; EVE still ranks among the best MMo's out there & one of the few 'true MMO's'. One of the biggest attractions for me is that we all play together in the same universe. No shards, no parallel instances.

Except for players in the People's Republic of China, of course, though to be fair that's CCP bending to local legislation.

At this point I have to point out that CCP_Fozzie and CCP_Falcon will openly encourage the absolute and total domination, destruction, and theft of all things...

That said.. this is EvE.. If our devs were bleeding heart wimps we would probably riot. :)

Also /agreed.

Here is an example of something way different sounding.

Two Steps From Hell - The Devil Plays a Smoking Trumpet (Nero)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g59hAN8Wco
This is Starwars music with a bounce.
Look what they did to starwars empire themed music. LoL

Someone in the comments FOUND the sound because it was played on a video of the "battle of asakai".
Judge115 was his name.

Hypnotica

A hollywood fast paced I dunno? It just sounds awesome.

Exhumed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4nf5WQrtIo&index=142&list=FLWZW72v-IYwPH5IC-mg_U7g
A heavy beat Techno with a Trademark sounding "joker laugh" in it.

Archangel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJ-QLl5qjLg
Those violins...

Strength of a thousand men
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwJj2EpC8vg
This is one you will hear in videogame commercials. As well as "Heart of courage"

That's an example of what they do. There's a lot of it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Steps_from_Hell
The Wiki helps.

Also to prove they do hollywood production.

Norwegian Pirate
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvriqdS3vsc
from 0:55 it copies like Pirates of the Caribbean exact.

Battle vs dark and light
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0atOMhiDqBY&index=146&list=FLWZW72v-IYwPH5IC-mg_U7g
Starwars-ish.

They have some Epic tracks But I like Audiomachine also Blink

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I just started in this game, and I have to say I agree with all of the above and more. It's stunning how dimensional an environment has been created here. I always have the sense something might suddenly happen!

As long as the tale of the hunt is told by the hunter, and not the lion, it will favor the hunter.

Here here,

Although Eve has some negative aspects I don't like, it's the first and only MMO I've actually been happy to pay for, and keep paying for because of the variety of stuff to do. Even though it can be like trading on Ferenginar sometimes to get profit
