Adjourned - Dear Gankers [(EARLY!) New Year Challenge Event]

Huh... if the event is delayed to February, can it be called properly a New Year Event?


I suggest calling it "Year of the Monkey event" and celebrate it on Sunday, February 7th 2016 (Chinese New Year's Eve).

Yeah, it's annoying cuz I was really looking forward to doing this as a new year thing. I can call it a belated new year thing though ^_^

I'm posting an event that's not just open to gankers, but anyone in New Eden. Just because I preface it as a recognition of the content that gankers create for this game, which is demonstrably sufficient enough for some positive recognition, regardless of a misinformed public opinion to the contrary, doesn't mean someone who's never ganked before cannot participate.

So, if you want to come in here and comment about your emotionally-clouded perceptions of gankers, and post unconstructive trolling and general disrespect, I'm not going to click the reply button, I'm going to click the report button and type in the field, "unconstructive trolling". Because that's all it is. If you've got some content creation ideas related to the event that I am planning, please, feel free to make suggestions. If you're here for no other reason than to berate the content that I am creating, well, be aware that I want to keep this thread free of hostilities for the sake of keeping it open, and any and all derailments will be reported the instant I see them. Not argued with, but ignored and reported.

This ship is launching right now, and will stay in space for as long as it takes for someone to gank it.

For the record, I want to apologise for my deception. I had always intended to launch today, and knew exactly when I was getting paid. Although I knew most of you would find it easy to believe I might screw something like that up so easily Lol

That being said, the Jan 1 date I originally posted, I felt at the time was enough to catch you all by surprise, but then I remembered how well prepared some EVE players like to be, and that 24 hours difference wouldn't be enough. SURELY someone would watching all of Bozidar's locations, tracking his movements, watching where he took his Mastadon before suddenly jump cloning out and knowing exactly where he would launch from.

So I want to apologise for that one deception, because there was no way I was going to let you have it as easily as just parking a fleet of nado's outside his station on the 'arranged' date. With that in mind, Bozidar is now spaceborne in his Mastadon, which will appear named as ☢ Siberia in your dscans, with ten plex aboard and a Navy Geddon in the fleet hangar.

Come and get me ^_^

Additionally, I did promise I'd be staying out of 0.9 and 1.0, but honestly, there may be no avoiding them for some places I want to go. I will instead try to minimise my time there. That is all.

If this PLEX is not claimed within the next hour and a half, I am going to need to get off EVE and feed my birds, and myself. Which means leaving Bozidar logged off in a deep safe in high sec. I have many deep safes in high sec to choose from, so again, it will complicate plans to bore me into docking up, and sitting Tornados outside the station. If you want plex, you'll work for it. TEN OF THEM (see image linked above). If it's not claimed today, same thing - I will log off somewhere, probably somewhere with a range of blue exits to choose from, and resume the event another day. I can't just be flying around space all day every day until someone ganks me though, it's very boring.

I'm going to have to stash my stuff somewhere and resume this another time. I will post here the next time I undock Boz with the plex. It may be a bit more again later, after downtime, but most like won't bring the plex out again until Friday. Rest assured though, Boz has been flying around highsec with 10 plex in his Mastadon for a few hours now, it's just incredibly boring and I'm hungry and have other stuff to do as well.

For the record, if you see him flying any DST other than the Mastadon, it won't have plex in it. Gank it if you want, idgaf, but it will not be as valuable, not even close.

Catching you is going to be a challenge, but getting you killed seems like it will be another story.

If you are using the cloak/microwarpdrive trick, I feel like this is nigh impossible. But kudos to the people that would be able to pull it off. If people have to get 15 pilots to gank you, they probably will just have better luck killing freighters instead.
