Hello,

I'm using a Gsync monitor and want to play EVE with borderless window mode (Gsync works with it). To do so, I have to disable Vsync (or any framerate cap). However, it seems that the framerate caps to 60 in window or borderless windows mode (whatever the interval). The strange thing is that if I add any window on the game the framerate cap seems to disappear (as you can see on the picture below). So it seems possible to remove the cap.

-Fullscreen works perfectly but I want it to works with borderless window.
-I tried to force off vsync and tripple buffering in the nvidia control pannel
-I tried all the interval

Could someone help me?

Thank you

Click "Framerate" to see the picture

Framerate

So without a window overlapping EVE in bordlerless windows I got a framerate cap of 60 fps
With a window overlapping EVE I have no framerate cap
In fullscreen I have no framerate cap (but still i need to play the game in borderless window

"windows mode" and "fixed windows" will use MS Windows settings. so by definition whatever your screen told windows what it was supporting.

G-Sync is nice thing on paper for direct3D full screen, but windows will display whatever the refresh is set in the display driver options and won't care one bit for whatever the GPU will display
so your statement "G-Sync works with it" leaves me dubious, and if you have a source saying otherwise on some blog or forum I'd like to read his or her explanation

your screenshot is unfortunately irrelevant as eve know when a client is not focused and starts working differently in the way in renders stuff

so as for your question : help? try opening a support request on the eve support site, that's your only way to get an official answer from ccp on this matter
