If I leave a alliance at war what happens?

So i left my Alliance we where at war what happens now? am I still at war or?

Nope, you're free to go about your business.

When corporations leave a war decked alliance a separate war is declared automatically but there's no penalty for individuals leaving.

The biggest penalty is you having to live with abandoning your mates in a time of need. Not to mention being flagged as a known turncoat. But other than that. No penalties at all.

Signatures wer cooler when we couldn't remove them completely.

Aside from the hilarious shame of cowardice there's no consequence to leaving a Corp.

That means you can't rejoin the corp you left for a week or until the war ends. You can join any other corp, even other corps in the same alliance.

It's to prevent some specific things.

perhaps his so called "mates" were some half-baked simpletons that should not have decided to go to war against a particular alliance to begin with? They then dragged this poor soul in the middle of it all, and now all he wants is to leave and meet normal people for once? Food for thought.

Depends why he wants to leave. I've had a character deep in HS, had a war declared when I was on vacation, and dropped corp just to get back out of HS easily.

I agree with you for 90% of situations, but I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt

I just left for a week or a Little more just to do some incursions making isk in HIsec
