Quick warp speeds are amazing and why people like Machs so much. The ship is overkill for 2s for grinding out other corps/agent standings and will handle most lev 3s. Don't forget to read http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=HomePage first though for all your missions until you learn them. Their are lev 3s that I have lost battlecrusiers in when I met NPC battleships in them. For those I now use my Megathron.

I got a Gnosis, almost broke me. Projectile turrets , shield tank, 230 Dps, 23,955 Hp.

There are not that many nasty surprises at level 3 but none-the-less look every mission up on EVE SURVIVAL. so there are no unpleasant situations that may cause a ship loss.

It's a ship CCP introduced with low SP pilots in mind, you should be grateful.

Oh and I don't wanna confuse you or anything, but the Zealots melts every single lev 3 mission with ease.

Train for an Orthrus if you want to do L3s classy. Besides for a few large L3 missions where the Orthrus wont be faster and tanked enough.

Cap stable Orthrus with rapid lights and a pointer shreds L3's faster then anything else I've used.

When I first did level 3 missions, it was when the Drake was overpowered with Heavy Missiles. Then they nerfed it.

You've got to be kidding. A T3 costs a billion just to buy and I wouldn't get in one of those without a lot of skills first. A T2 cruiser is a little more sensible as they don't cost more than BSs. If going that route I suggest skilling up drones and getting into an ishtar. The downside to that is those things take a month if you don't have cruiser 5.


who is selling you t3's for a billion?

T2 fit tengu with a small pith shield booster will do any lvl 3 and lvl 4 - cost you about 500mil give or take, nowhere near 1 bil

I use a Navy Omen for running lvl 3s and for exploration.

I've considered the Navy Augoror, but it can only hold and use 3 light drones. The Nomen can hold 10 drones (I have 5 lights and 5 salvagers) and use 5 drones. The Naugoror at Cruiser III does do more turret DPS, but the lack of drones would be an inconvenience for me at this point.

It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning.

It seems to me many did not read your OP.

The best tech I cruiser for level 3s would be the Navy Vexor. That is as long as you have sentry drones trained. You will pump out plenty of dps, at plenty of range, and it will be selectable as to damage type.
