Low sec Pilots definitely talk a big game. The null sec FC's and members of large corps definitely subscribe to elitism. But the most intimidating are the Doctrine brewers and Ship fitters. They definitely can cloud an eve chat room.

You'd have to ask them. And if you think those are the only means one can go about acquiring personal information, you are missing some much needed education on the resolve of an internet stalker. You needn't worry about it though, the police had a nice little chat with the folk who did it, and so did a judge.
