And while we have Christmas, why not ask Santa for getting remote reps and +500% shield and armor resistance and of course, my personal favorite, -3000% signature radius reduction while you have fit a hictor bubble in the first place also?

Maybe you haven't noticed but Christmas is one of those holiday thingies where everyone is not on the EVE-O forums and waits with increasing antissipastion for our supreme leader to make a wish.

A bit to early to iterate on this design. Come back after citadels and we'll see. There will be more people who have touched these things and fought against them by then. It's too fresh to get in depth feedback right now.

For discussion's sake, would it work like a focus point? AOE unscripted/Targeted scripted? How would you determine the direction of transposition?

The problem I see is a fleet of these warping in, focus MJD'ing each member of a fleet, and then singling people out. Or cherry picking the FC/Logi Anchor. I think this would be too powerful.

Also, the aggressor would easily be out of scram range. This would kill MWD fleets because defensive scramming the FC anchor would stop them in their tracks.

Nothing changes in the way it works. Besides being targeted one a single ship. It keeps the 6 km range.

I'm thinking the lack of the ability to use the new destroyers in high-sec, this script would give them a role in high-sec.

A better use of the script would be to change the effect to just a mico jump drive.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

A small hull that can MJD would not be useless. Particularly if it was to ordinary MJDs what a scripted warp disruption field generator is to normal warp disruptors.

Yeah it makes it a targeted infiniscram. Which has exactly nothing to do with MJDing. You need to fill in the blanks for people.

Also, -1. I don't like this. These are already pretty silly.

So if I've understood this correctly, you want a script that instead of flinging the CD & everything within 6km forward, just flings the targeted ship forward? Sure I can get behind this. Watch us abuse the hell out of it until you regret this suggestion.

Basically this but the CD is going along for the ride as well.


Right now out side of bad links the new CD are useless in highsec.

A targeted MJD script would make them useful.

First, I didn't say that a small ship with MJD capability is useless. I said that adding a script to make it that would be useless, since it already is an MJD for the ship that fits it. If you want to fly the CD as an MJD destroyer just fly away from other ships and activate it. Ta da. You just MJD'd in a small ship. So adding the script to take away the AOE makes it useless.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Movement and interference are two separate things. Comparing weapon systems like missiles and rails is one thing. Comparing MJD'ing to warp disrupting is not the same and scripts do not serve the same purpose. Just saying "This module has scripts so this module should have scripts" is not a valid argument.

I think the OP just lives in high sec and his shortsightedness on the part of null sec pilots is where his idea falls short. This is the purpose of the F&I forum, to give many perspectives on a topic that the person with the idea doesn't have. Maybe he's a pro null bittervet though, idk. But he keeps saying that it would be "really great in high sec." I don't think it would be great in high sec but I haven't done combat there in 5 years. So I only speak from my null experience.
