Dear CCP and EVE players,

I am requesting a release schudele for further releases of Incarna. I am looking forward to the other CQ's and the Establishments, but afcourse not as much as FIS updates. Nevertheless I think that CQ's and Establishments need to be released first.

We then chatted a bit about how else the Incarna system is going to change over the coming months, and the guys were happy to tell me that Establishments are almost ready for showtime, and so are the other three racial captain’s quarters.

Yes, I have seen the 'before the end of this year' post a while ago, but no more dev blogs or any information about the release schedule. Is it going to be in one update? In which time-frame from now? etc. etc.

Looking forward to an answer!

Thank you!

I am still waiting to find out if the establishments are going to be a multiplayer environment.... by which I mean - will we walk through the station (please remember what WIS actually stands for CCP) and go into an establishment and interact with other players....

Or as I fear, we click our screen in our solo room, to 'access' an establishment.

So do I, but asking for intell about something that is prior to release isn't all that much asked. A recent interview on mmorpg (.) com stated that both the racial QC AND the Establishments were just moments away from release.

Yes I read that.
But what it didn't say was that an establishment would be a WIS multiplayer environment.
And it also said that it would be a basic release with extras and content being released in an future 'undetermined timeframe'

Found the article here

Though the game won’t have all of its doodads and bobbles ready for use right as the first Establishments make their way into the game, eventually they’ll become more and more fully-featured to give players’ avatars that much more of a role in the game.

I guess I am hateing on CCP a little over all this, after reading the article it does seem like they are going to be doing some actual Spaceship based updates this winter, mostly 0.0 but things seem to be pointed in the right direction.

Yhea, that's the EVE philosophy speaking. But how basic these features will be or what we can expect is still unkown to us, community. A video walktrough and a nice dev blog containing some more information would be nice to say the least.

Im just getting impatience with our ignorance about the future steps of eve other then the word establishments and 'end of this year'

I hear ya BeBoPp, I feel the same way.

My fear is the lack of information is to hide things that the player base does not want to hear, and keep us paying our $$$.

They keep trying to flog us Nex clothes with no date as to when another player is going to be able to see our new shoes..... Its a fracking joke.

So far;

Earliest Winter Expansion - Quantum Rise (11 November 2008)
Latest Winter Expansion - Castor (December 18, 2003)

As far as content.
For the most part we generally never get any updates till October.
And considering all the whining about fix this and fix that.
I doubt we will get any updates at all until they are sure something will make it.
So watch SISI for changes.

The information I am asking is not about the new expansion, which in my view was set to be about null-sec ans sov space. I am only asking information and a release schedule of the updates that are still to come with the Incarna expansion.

It is going slow in my opinion with the stream of information we are getting. Make a nice Dev blog and some cool looking videos to get us exiting again about EVE.

I know but as I stated above.
Cause and effect.
People are so quick to complain about anything, especially when it it has to do with incarna that CCP has gotten pretty closed mouth about it.
If CCP gives any information out about Incarna then the kiddies will scream what about, super carriers blah blah blah.
It has gotten to the point where it is better to say nothing about anything.

Ashame. Well let's hope that all those bad people leave the game so we can have our game back.

Our myriad scrum teams are currently hammering out what will be in the next release schedule. CCP Guard will be badgering them soon for additional information, especially blogs and video blogs, that we can share will you. At this time, we don't have an ETA on when we will be able to give you more information about what's coming next.

I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, and I apologize for disappointing you :(

If CCP were silly enough to release dates, even tentative dates people would let their subscriptions lapse until something that interested them was due to be implemented.

By not releasing dates CCP can just keep stringing the player base along, like doing little updates when you start the client but you cant do that too long, its a fine balance. Eventually people will give up on hoping their favorite annoyance will be fixed.

They also avoid the rage if something is even 5 minutes later than what they originally said the release date would be..

Amphetimines are your friend.
