I don't even know how to start diagnosing this or what would be causing it.
I keep getting a greyed out bunch of things that aren't in my local any longer on the overview, distance or whatever I am sorting by has a little lock icon.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Sad I am sorry to hear that! Did you try to clear the cache files and relog? Can you maybe provide a little more detail, like what distribution you are using, kernel revision, which wine (the latest 1.8 has more or less good DX11 features) and which graphics card you have?

It's not an overview lag. It's a platform independent desync. Often happens in heavy fights.

Wine version: 1.7.42
Graphics Card: R9 390
Will try to clear cache, thanks. It should take ages though because I do a full download.

I will assume that by local you do not mean the local chat, but still all the entries on your overview... When this happens do I do a Ctrl+LeftMouseClick into empty space. This has so far always unlocked the overview for me when it got stuck in the locked state.

This happens under Windows, too. It is not too frequent, but I can understand that it can be very annoying when one does not know how to unlock it.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Okay cool. So far this sounds good and if you encounter problem logging on, you should use the ppa from winehq for Ubuntu to install the latest 1.8 release candidate.
I just heard rumors that it can "translate" dx11 at least partially.

When I have few day to set it up, I'll say bye, bye Windoze forever.
