My mistake was not getting out of Zydrine and Megacyte after the bubble popped

Made a decent profit, but missed a easy extra bils


Made the same mistake with T3 subs, brought them up but held too long and had to panic sell

not really a bad investment but a bad decision, I gave up on my stock of zydrine about a week before it spiked from 400 isk.

Buying a few billion worth of dread guristas ammo because I found it selling a lot cheaper than jita on eve-central in outlying regions. Then hauled the ammo in, and put it up for sale, only to realize the jita sell prices aren't actually selling.

Even if it's a pain, the rule now is load a jita alt and check the history before going buy crazy.

Learned the hard way the meaning of SVR when I once built hundreds of T2 large smartbombs looking at them insane profit per unit. Ended up selling them at pretty huge loss after one month of -0.01 market pvp because I burnt out.

2 or 3 times scammed to margin trading, investing in fresh info from eve-marketdata trade routes links.

One time 5 or 7 BS, which sold at 30% under.

Not integrating the proper tax and/or broker fee / costs is a sure bet to shoot yourself in the foot.
(because it's more profitable to shoot yourself in the foot instead.)

Other than that, I just got a new JF pilot worth 20% less than I paid for, but I didn't want to take the chance to lose the opportunity to a 40% less case.

And those screenshots, recent ones that is, plus the first cargo haulers contract publicly published in the hauler's channel.
A very good Bounty Hunter / merc enterprise. At least a 7b worth JF ship with fittings, if not rigged.

I have 10s of thousands of meta 2-3 modules with the idea that teiricide would have raised their value. Steaming failure.

Around the time of Apocrypha, I saw large cargo rigs take a dive. Had I bothered to even think for a second I would have figured out that haulers were now fitting medium rigs (there were only one sized rigs prior to Apocrypha). So I bought a shitload of these rigs at about 10-11m a pop, while the price continued to nosedive to about half the value. This was a major blow to my trade activities at the time, but I was not one to cut my losses, so I suffered for a while.

More recently I bought heavily into alloyed tritanium bars (this item is used to manufacture cargohold rigs iirc, so I should stay away from this stuff). Think I bought around 60k/unit, and the price fell to 10-15k immediately. Again I hung on to the pile till a momentary spike in the price a year later.
