I was wondering...you guys have upgraded the hardware of TQ many times now. I was wondering if you still had some of the older hardware kicking around, and if so, what might it be worth to you?

Full disclosure, I want to be able to support 10k users concurrently in a non-scifi, non-space, non-competitive (with EVE) mmo.

Confirming this is the correct way to go about this.

Pfft, noob, you mean to tell me you've never bought a company's assets by posting a WTB on the company's GD forum?

The old hardware will make a nice new test server.

Didn't they auction used TQ blades at some Fanfest? Question

Also, to the OP, it is very likely that you can find exactly the same used parts everywhere if CCP just tells you their name, and that will be cheaper unless you happen to live by London and could go pick up them yourself.

Confirming the OP doesn't have the faintest clue on how server structure works. He'd have zero use for it.

What use is a used hamster?

There once was a ganker named tisi

Said hamster comes with a really cool, large red button and if you press it the hamster stops moving. The half torn off post-it note attached to it vaguely reads "**** off tuxf".

I think you both are forgetting that old server equipment technically falls under the category of "Stuff".. and I think we all know by now who that is claimed by... therefore OP is asking the wrong party.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
