This thing desperately needs to detect already running processes.

If you close the launcher with windows open and re-open the launcher it thinks you have no accounts signed in.

From the drop down menu, select Client Settings.

In the dialog on the left hand side you should see the settings folders for your existing clients - drag the one you want to migrate over to the right hand side, then rename it to what you want.

You can always redo this if you think something went wrong - the new launcher does not delete anything from the old.

I just did a clean install and am in the process of redoing all my settings. I was nervous about my old client settings messing up the clean install.

Then I just copied the RES files over to the new install folder and verified them. It seems to be working like a charm.

I can finally play again.

Good evening, sorry for my English.
I'm having a problem with the Launcher 988834. I formatted my windows and I perform the installation of EVE, it installs the launcher but to run, it does not open. The process appears at the Task Manager but gets caught in 3676 K of RAM and don't shows.

Any idea?

So with all the stuff that is "on your list" and will "be added soon", how the hell did this get out of beta ?

After all these years you are still bringing in half-finished stuff before its anywhere ready.

Going out of beta doesn't mean we stop developing and improving it. If you prefer using the old launcher, it is still available.

Are your video drivers up to date? Try updating your drivers - if that doesn't help I'm afraid you're out of luck until after the holiday break. I'm investigating similar issues and will deploy an update in the first week of January.

Im using the new launcher.

Do I need to delete old installation folder locations left over from installs created using the old launcher for both tranquility and singularty ?

Could you advise what the folders are currently being used by the new launcher / eve installation so I can pinpoint what folders are old and not needed anymore.

Because EvE is bloating my Hard Drive. Doing a shared cache verification removed over 20 GIG ! of unneeded files and Im curious how much more HD space is being lost due to these legacy folders.

So While the launcher now opens the game , which is great, my IGB bookmarks did not carry over (even though I requested that client settings be saved) and links for sites do not open up in the IGB, thus the IGB does not work.
Some of my characters need to use IGB based apps to be able to function effectively.
Is there a fix for that planned?
On a previous thread a fix was suggested, but did not work for me.
Using the old launcher is a crapshoot at best, would like something more stable to use.

Documentation for installation of JUST the new launcher, for already existing installations, could use help. Download pages only seem to indicate installation of full client, which makes people hesitant, myself included. (The full client is certainly not small, and we worry about our settings.)

Installed new launcher. Attempted to install in existing EVE installation folder, where the installer promptly stated the folder would be wiped since existing installation detected. Had to install in different new folder instead.

Attempted to migrate profile when prompted by the new launcher. Appeared to be successful. Launched game, found NONE of the UI settings had been transferred. Exited game, used old launcher, ALL UI settings still present in game.
