So I'm looking into t2 production

I Will be inveting my own BPC's and producing my own Components

So I have a couple of questions

1) should I work from a station or from a POS

2) Should I stick to the same Products or keep changing depending on demand

My Main is in a PVP alliance so was looking at building stuff for Doctrine

1.

A POS is able to significantly increase the amount of stuff you churn out, but it won't necessarily make you more money. Stick with a station unless you are producing with many characters.

2.

You should always evaluate the profitability of what you are doing. It it's unprofitable, switch to something else.

If you are trying to seed your alliance staging system, it might be more profitable to import straight from jita if the item itself isn't profitable to make.

1) Depends, do the math. Pos has 2% mat reduction, depending on what you make and how many/month it may be worth it or not. Also system index costs affect. Then there are fuel costs.

2) If you are building for Doctrine then I don't understand this question unless what you build changes the doctrine.
If the doctrine is stable then you can optimize eg.
a) isk -> build whatever has the highest profit.
b) Material transport & isk -> build stuff which does not require you to transfer a lot of materials and is profitable.
c) timing based & isk, build stuff which suits your hours of play and is profitable
d) etc.

If you are building in nullsec, look for an Amarr Outpost - if you can find one that has been upgraded, it's better than a POS. Caldari outposts are as good as a POS for research and copying but aren't bonused for invention (at least the ones near me aren't)

Edit: use the facilities tab in the industry tool to find bonused outposts - you'll see a + next to the activity.

If you don't know about my app, it's in my signature and should help.

For doctrines though, I've seen this a lot and as said above, it really comes down to profits in the end. if you aren't saving isk, then its not worth your time.
